About East London Community Foundation
We are committed to building stronger communities, tackling deprivation and enabling change by encouraging local giving and supporting locally based and/or grassroot organisations across East and North East London.
East London Community Foundation offers a cost-effective way for donors to make a long-term difference to the causes close to their heart. Through understanding of local issues, we make strategic and well-targeted grants that secure the future for generations. Over the past 6 years, we have been one of the largest non-statutory grant funders across our area.
By acting as a social investor and ‘broker’, East London Community Foundation can help donors achieve their charitable objectives, and local voluntary groups secure funding for their work. We try to make giving easy and enjoyable.

We believe that the future of our communities is in the hands of us all. We work in partnership to shape our communities with the communities themselves, including business, private philanthropists, local authorities, local agencies and local community and voluntary sector groups.
We help communities in London, particularly those in North East London, in Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
